Jewel Kayfes thrives at the intersection of people, strategy, and storytelling. With more than a decade of experience in business development and marketing within the AEC industry, she is known for building authentic relationships, driving strategic growth, and bringing energy to every pursuit.

As Senior Business Development Strategist at Systems West Engineers, Jewel plays a key role in expanding the firm’s presence in the Portland metro area, with a strategic focus on supporting the growth of the firm’s new West Linn office. She connects teams, clients, and opportunities in meaningful ways, drawing on experience that spans both engineering and architecture. Throughout her career, she has led marketing and business development efforts, developed winning strategies, and helped teams clearly communicate their value.

Jewel is a graduate of Oregon State University and a past President of CREW Portland. She remains passionate about supporting and advancing women in commercial real estate and the broader AEC industry. She is also an active member of SMPS Oregon and was recognized as a DJC Women of Vision award recipient in 2020.

A Pacific Northwest local for more than 30 years, Jewel loves taking full advantage of everything the region offers—from wine tasting and outdoor adventuring to discovering new dining experiences and traveling. Above all, she values meaningful time spent with friends and family.
